On June 24, Jiang Hairong, CEO of Deepal Auto, reposted content from an automotive blogger regarding J.D. Power’s 2026 China Customer Experience Index (CEI) Study and responded, stating that enhancing the end-to-end car-buying journey and the full lifecycle ownership experience is a key strategic focus for Deepal. The study comprehensively evaluates the entire customer journey—from showroom visits and test drives to post-visit follow-ups and vehicle delivery—and shifts its evaluation perspective from traditional “satisfaction” metrics to “purchase experience,” centered on conversion rates. It notes that China’s auto market has entered a phase of intense competition in a saturated environment, with slowing foot traffic growth and price wars nearing their limits. Consequently, improving conversion rates among showroom visitors has become a critical industry priority. Additionally, new energy vehicle (NEV) customers are more sensitive to service experiences, and poor experiences pose significantly higher reputational risks compared to those of conventional fuel vehicle owners. Service professionalism, information transparency, and genuine care are fundamental expectations shared across all generational user groups. In this study, Deepal scored 814 points, ranking second among mainstream NEV brands and tied for third among domestic NEV brands—surpassing the industry average. According to the aforementioned blogger, Deepal initiated a comprehensive consumer-oriented transformation in the second half of 2025, continuously investing in marketing, retail, and service experience. During recent store visits, the blogger observed noticeable improvements in showroom presentation and staff service attitudes. The blogger believes that, beyond product strength, enhanced purchase experience has been a key factor behind Deepal’s consistent monthly sales exceeding 30,000 units in recent months. On the product front, Deepal launched the S07 Huawei Qiankun Laser Range-Extended Edition at the Chongqing International Auto Show on June 13, completing its dual-power (pure electric and range-extended) lineup under the Huawei Qiankun Laser series. In May, the Deepal L06 ranked first in sales within the RMB 130,000–200,000 segment of the new energy midsize sedan market.
